By the power of my thoughts alone...

Hi
Yesterday morning I was just thinking that one of the things I need
to do is write a press release for the local paper. Since they ran
a small item on the initial planning application I thought it was
reasonable that they might like to publish something on the
outcome. My deliberation was whether or not it to wait until the
new year before communicating with the local media. While I was
pondering the matter my phone rang and on the other end was Ryan,
who is a journalist with the Western Gazette. "I see your
planning application was successful." He said. "We would
like to run a feature on your Martial Arts centre, so what can you
tell me about it?"

So there you go, all I have to do is think about the Stav centre
and journalists ring me up and ask to publish a story about it.
Seriously though, interest is building in the project. On Monday
just after mid day there will be a photograph taken out side the
building in South Street, thanks to my students who are able to
make themselves available to be in the picture. I sent some more
information to Ryan which you can see here if you are interested
http://www.screencast.com/t/1OYtHpNK9lO I don't think I am
getting carried away if I say that we may well be on the front page
of the Western Gazette on Thursday morning, even if the story is
inside it should still generate a lot of interest. All I need to
do now is make sure I am ready with the website updated and ready
to accept opt-ins.

Whatever happens I am not expecting to hold classes or courses at
the Crewkerne Centre before February (although I will post some
provisional dates in the next couple of days) But there is the
opportunity to train in Salisbury on the 18th of January, you can

The question now is; what is holding up the Sunday Times and the
BBC from calling me?

regards

Graham

PS Following on from my posting yesterday about Ralph Blum's
book. Of course if you are interested in reading about runes from
a Stav perspective David Stone has written some very good stuff and
you can get it in ebook form from
