I hope you had a good weekend. We had a nice time in Salisbury on
Saturday. I was expecting two new people but both somehow managed
to be ill and couldn't make it. So the five I did have were
all reasonably experienced so we trained with two person staff
drills, axe training and we got through all nine two person drills.
The last session was devoted to cudgel which we don't train
with often enough. Thanks for everyone who did turn up and it was
good training with you.
One more course scheduled this year for 16th of November, new venue
so support it if you can.
In 2014 I will have a really exiting new project under way to take
Stav training to a whole new level. I have taken the necessary
action for the moment and now there is nothing more I can do until
planning permission for a change of use comes through (hopefully)
in the middle of December. In the meantime take a look at
http://www.somersetstav.co.uk/sc.html and don't worry, we will
be repainting the walls as a matter of priority!
