Stav Camp over for another year

Published: Tue, 09/10/13

Hi
Stav camp 2013 finished Sunday and everyone was gone by about half
past five. It all seemed very quiet and almost lonely in the barn
and field. I have been getting comments along the lines, 'best
Stav camp ever' and 'a brilliant camp' and 'I
thoroughly enjoyed it' and so on. I love it when a plan comes
together as George Pepard used to say at the end of each episode of
the A team, and it did come together this year, of course I
couldn't have done it without a lot of help, Venetia did a
great job on the catering and her family were very supportive, not
least in letting us use their barn and field. I am also very
grateful to Ivar for coming and teaching over the weekend and to
Alex, Nigel and Hugh for their various contributions as teachers.
And of course thanks to everyone who supported the event and for
mucking in and helping out in everyday ways such as washing up etc.
There was a lot of good training done too and I hope everyone got
what they needed from the camp. I am going to focus on other
things for the moment but I intend to announce the date and other
details of next year's camp well before the end of the year.

However if you feel that you missed out there are plenty of other
opportunities for Stav training, in the UK on Saturday 21st of this
month there will be a 3 hour session between 2 and 5 pm in
Crewkerne, on the 19th of October a full day in Salisbury and on
the 16th of November a day course in Evesham, I will be updating
the events pages very soon.

If you are in the USA then we have training scheduled between the
26th and 28th of October in New Jersey, I should have more details
on that soon too. Check out

course in Salisbury, updates to follow very soon.
