Day one over and everyone seems to be happy

First day today of the course, everyone has managed to arrive
although the last person to get here didn't arrive until the
middle of the afternoon. I got up at about 0600hrs, sun just
coming up and a mist across the fields. I also discovered that a
lot of other people were up too and queing for the shower, everyone
seemed to have the same idea that if they got up first there would
be no one else there, I great idea if you are the only one to have
it!
We did morning stances and staff exercises, had porridge and then
got stuck into a session of weapon training and then unarmed
practice. After lunch Nigel led a woodland walk for learning how
to identify the relevant Stav trees and plants. Then final Stances
and Alex gave a short lesson on training with the Kettle Bell.
Looks like supper is on the table now so got to go, will try and
post some pictures tomorrow.
