Every tradition began somewhere

Published: Sat, 09/02/23

Just a short post this time, but links to hopefully interesting stuff.
It seems that I had some part to play in promoting a 'new' tradition which then got incorporated into the Vikings series, even though it had no historical basis beyond the 1990s. Have a listen, it is quite amusing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWnSPfAS92Q
Also, our next courses, basically the same event, but in very different locations:
7th October in Salisbury http://iceandfire.org.uk/salisbury071023.html
4th November in Tickton, East Yorkshire http://iceandfire.org.uk/tickton041123.html
Date for the 2024 Stavcamp will be the 5th to the 7th of July and I will get the site updated asap.
I have a new booklet out, a simple, illustrated, reference guide to the 16 Runes which we use in Stav, link here http://iceandfire.org.uk/lit.html
I hope everyone is well and had a good Summer. Iduna is going back to Nursery on Tuesday and I will have a lot more time for writing and other creative pursuits.
regards
Graham
